UPDATE: Two things… First, I decided to try using whole kernel corn inside of these guys instead of rice or lentils and it works WAY better! The corn holds the heat much longer than the rice or lentils, so I suggest you try that. One of my favorite things about fall is getting a caramel apple spice from Starbucks. Yum! But did you know you can easily recreate them at home?!

The Starbucks caramel apple spice is totally delicious, but I think this homemade version is just as good (and way less expensive!)
